Big money in peanuts, pillows and extra bags

American Airlines lost $286 million in the second quarter this year.  No problem, like they say you gotta spend money to make money. So to break out of the red AA ordered 460 new planes with options to buy 465 more.  Price tag for the new equipment ?  A little more than $38 Billion.  For a company that is losing $3 million a day that is a leap of faith.

In the meanwhile…….folks are still getting kicked out of their homes because they can't pay their mortgage. Strange how credit works in the US.

I guess the $$$ AA makes selling the bags of peanuts they used to give away will help them pay for the planes.  No way I’ll get on one of those planes, I can’t afford the peanuts.  Big Dutch got it right…….”You better Pray
